last night i was introduced to a new bar for me.  the hound dog.  more correctly... the ravari room in the back of hound dog.  younger crowd and the had Killians... ON TAP!!!  that's always a plus with me.    no cool glasses like patrick j's used to have... but then again the key words there are USED TO.  blast!  and i was on my way to a set.    oh well... guess i'll just have to keep searching.

operation pocket rockets, which was gonna go down this weekend, was put on hold due to some hecticness in linda's family.  but that's quite alright and totally understandable.  i just hope it turns out alright in the end.  and hey, we can always resume the trip anytime this year seein as she's no longer gracing us with her presence on this beloved campus.  that being THE Ohio State University... for those of you who somehow didn't know that.  but yes, road trips are always welcomed by this fellow.  so if you got a hankerin to see me just lemme know and i'll drive on over to see ya! 

erin leaves us this weekend for DC.    but that just means we gotta throw her a bangin goin away party.  sounds to me like anime and drinkage night. 

saturday i think i'll actually get off my bum and plan a bigger groupage thing.  but don't hold me to that.  i'm notorious for planning last minute or not at all.    but hey, at least i still call... even though some of you NEVER return my calls!!!  but oh well.

i'm thinkin it's about time i hit the hay since i gotta get up early tomorrow for work.  so all's i got to say is g'night all

just got back from the friday night dublin irish festival!!!  saw sarah's mom dance and she won 2, count em, TWO awards.  granted we think it was actually the same award twice... but whatever, she got two actual medals so wtb Tiberia!  also, i got a new irish ring.  if you'll recall i lost my last one in DC.  but now all is right with the world and there is once again an irish ring on my hand.  Unfortunately we did have a slight adventure tryin to find jimmy's keys... but in the end we found em... in quite the hilarious spot.    all in all a fun night.  and i'll probably go saturday as well 

recently, i have simplified my life even more than i had a while ago.  i think i'm finally down to near the most simplified my life will ever be!    took some shots, didn't pan out, but oh well, that's life.  i'm just glad that i know where i am in my life and what i want.

i got some pics from DC back form my mom today on a cd so i can show y'all some highlights of my trip!  this first one is me n my bro in a capsule at the goddard space center.

and this next one is the coal mine my great grandfather and great great grandfather worked at.  this is located in mount carmel PA and is where all the McFaddens in my family come from.  as far back as we know at least. 

of course we saw monuments n stuff... but these things meant a little more to me than a bunch of stone and marble.  that's all for now folks.  come on back no ya hear.

so it's been a little while since we last chatted.  well... i wouldn't necessarily call it chatting.  more like me talking on and on and you being a good listener and just letting me rant.  and then possibly commenting only after i've finished my long drawn out thoughts.

but anyway... just got back from a roadtrip to cincy where chris n i hung out with amanda and her cincy crew.  all in all it was a fun time... except for the choice of bar.  $5 cover and $4 beers?!?!?!  what's up with that yo?  that's called i get one and milk it alllll night.  cool place... but pricey.  nah, but we did have fun.

when we got back i proceeded to spend and mend.  that means i went out and spent some cash money on some bolts, washers, and nuts etc... and fixed that recliner my parent's are givin me finally.  also i decided to buy a new toy.  a PS2!!!  ok... so it's not exactly new for most of you, but if you know me then you know i hate payin full price for my games when i can wait a little bit and have the price cut by more than half.  i'm very patient    but anyway, i hooked all that up and it's workin beautifully.

i should maybe look into updating this more... b/c other stuff happened like during the week but it requires so much memory recall that i don't want to even begin the process of trying to think of it all.  so y'all will have to do with this.  and if ya don't like it then i'll sing ya the shaving cream song.  what's that you ask?  well maybe i'll tell ya if ya have a problem    but till then, i'm outty
